What is Transport Data Hub?

Transport Data Hub is the single national platform for managing transport and logistics data. It was created by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine to:

→ provide businesses with tools for demand forecasting, route planning, and investments
→ provide the government with quality data for transport sector project planning
→ make travel for passengers more convenient, safer and more predictable

What problems does the project solve?

Lack of quality data and analytics on transport, passenger flows and routes

Inability to form effective policies and make sound decisions

Unbalanced route network and unprofitable routes

Duplicate and unprofitable routes that create costs and hinder opening of new directions

Transport Data Hub combines data from mobile operators, government agencies, carriers and other sources, transforming them into interactive dashboards, analytical models and convenient services.

What has been done?

✓ Data collection and processing methodologies have been developed
✓ Analytical panels in Power BI and Qlik for analysing mobile data, passenger flows and bus routes have been launched
✓ The international bus journey search portal is live autobus.gov.ua
